In writing lessons this week we will be writing character descriptions and learning about the features of biographies. In maths we are working on our multiplication and division skills. As part of our Scotland topic we have been learning where the main Scottish cities are. We have started to make three local mountains and we are making a 3D landscape maths of this area using paper mache. In science we have been investigating melting points and freezing points using thermometers. This week we are going to make our very own ice cream…using ice and salt! On Thursday we will be celebrating the life and work of Robert Burns- everyone is invited to wear tartan for our Burn’s Supper with poems, singing and dancing.
